To me, it’s obvious that Dexcom has made some change that causes this issue. For the past several months I’ve seen the exact same behavior and failure pattern with every sensor.

I’ve found the CGM gives me great peace of mind, and will be upgrading to Dexcom’s G6 Control IQ technology to use with my Tandem T-Slim pump, which should help keep me in range better than the self adjustments I do now. Most feedback I’ve read is positive although admittedly not everyone is crazy about it.

On Friday I am leaving to go to Italy with my boyfriend to meet his family and i’m in need of any advice i can get. Dexcom has really helped me get my shit together. Last time I had my A1C tested it was a whopping , and that wasn't unusual. Turns out all I needed was a little competitive kick in the ass. This is my last 7 days, my 60 day (when I started using the G6) is with a 125 average. Feels good.
